Hannah with ice cream… in progress

Hannah in progress In progress:  My Granddaughter, Hannah.  Here I’ve used transparent staining color, a limited palette.  This is about three glazes of color.  I’m using a limited palette of Winsor Blue Green Shade, Permanent Rose, Winsor Orange, and Winsor Yellow.

I love your underpaintings and am so grateful that you shared the colors you do. Do you paint them wet on wet or wet on dry. I would like to try this with some white lilies.

Hi Mary. I paint wet on dry, working on a slanted board, moving down the page. It would work beautifully on white lilies. Please send me a picture. And, let me know if you have other questions or need more of an explanation.

Boy you are prompt answering questions. I am going to paint with a group today and will definitely try it. Thanks and blessings.

Hi Jeannie…….This painting is going to be lovely. Looking foreward to start taking your classes again. They’re always an inspiration. I hope to take your Art Nouveau class in June/July.

Can you give me any details regarding the Art Nouveau Class and what you do in it. I love that type of art.
