Amador County Artists Studio Tour

September 17th & 18th, (10am – 4pm)

This weekend,  Amador County Artists will open their studios to the public.  I’m proud to have my home studio on the tour.  One of my former teachers, Sabina Turner, is on the tour, as well as many other fine artists in the area.

Amador County is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Northern California.  My hometown is Jackson and my home studio is conveniently located.

It’s Free!

If you are interested in more information please contact me and I’ll give you all the particulars.

Great Information!

I just wandered over to Winsor & Newton’s website and found a wealth of information about their watercolours, which I have been using and loving for years.  Here’s the site link:  http://www.winsornewton.com/resource-centre

So, now when you have questions about the various colors available and properties as well as chemical make-up of types of color you will know how to get wonderful info quickly and easily.  Enjoy!

New watercolor portrait

Here’s my newest watercolor portrait of my granddaughter Hannah and my daughter-in-law Anita.  I love how their special relationship is evident in their interaction and the expression on Hannah’s face.  Hope you enjoy.
