"Mother Nature" was created from a collage of some of my favorite images and it was a ball to paint!
I'm intrigued by the tangle of the nest, the noble iguana in his armor, the crocodile with his almost smile
and the close-up ant. The clock and the croc are reminiscent, I suppose, of Peter Pan, which is fun...
but also of the tick-tick of time and the danger in life.
Up high in the left hand corner is a knight's shinning armor, so, there's a little bit about protection here...
protection of the fragile flowers and little eggs.
