This is a painting of my granddaughter, Elle, with her cousin, Sunday. 

The girls were visiting. 

and decided to pick flowers for Great Grandma Lucille. 

They chose these beautiful cosmos. 

I love the way the light and shadow add volume and reflected light to the girls' faces and the translucence of the flowers.
