If you want to paint watercolor portraits… you must practice, observe and experiment.
Here is a study I did from magazine photos to help me practice my skill, understand the forms and shapes within the eye, and experiment with color. Â I painted the eye quite large so that I could see and describe it in detail. Â In the coming weeks I’ll be posting more of my studies to inspire you to try for yourself. Â Remember you can only truly learn by hands-on practice, observation and experimentation.
If you have questions or comments please let me know.
