Color Theory in Watercolor

Years ago I took color theory classes from Gary Pruner at American River College in Sacramento, Ca.   Gary is an amazing colorist, painter and teacher. 

I thought it would be great if I could pass on some of what I had learned in Gary’s challenging classes.  That was the impetus behind my starting a new Color Theory class at University Art.  The class was specifically related to watercolor, however the principles could be applied to any medium. 

My students worked hard.  I worked hard.   I think they were proud and pleased with their endeavors.  I know I was.  I’m happy to share some some pics of some of their work. 

Unfortunately I didn’t get photos of everyone’s work.  I’ll try to get more.  :)
